Life File: Valentine’s Day High Tea Part I

Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was great and I hope you’re ready to see lots of girly prettiness here on the blog because today I’m finally sharing with all of you the super sweet (figuratively and literally) afternoon tea I put together with my friend Jacquelyn to celebrate Galentines! While I get that Valentine’s day is all about romance and yada, yada, yada; there’s no reason why every kind of love shouldn’t be celebrated too, so with that in mind, we thought that a Valentine’s Day afternoon tea with some of our closest friends was the perfect way to celebrate friendship. After all, I don’t think that the idea of sipping some exquisite tea and indulging in delicious sweets sounds bad to anyone, right?

We enlisted our pals Victoria and Talia to take part on this dreamy get together and with the help of our friends from Sloane Tea, Pehr, Teeny Tiny Bakery and Blush and Bloom we were able to bring to life what we had envisioned for our Galentine’s Afternoon Tea. And of course, you wouldn’t be seeing all this if it wasn’t for our friend Heidi who managed to capture it all in the most beautiful and magical way (the girl is so talented!)

I really hope this inspires you to get together with the special people in your life to celebrate love. Whether is your best friends, your cousins, your sisters, daughters…spending quality time together and celebrating your relationships will only strengthen the love that you have for each other 🙂 Please scroll down for the first set of photos (more coming later today!)

PS: In the next couple of days I’ll be sharing some recipes, how-to’s, and more details of how this all came together so stay tuned! I’ll also pop in to let you know when there’s content related to this afternoon tea published over at Lark & Linen. In the meantime, head over to Jacquelyn’s blog for more pictures!
