Shopping File: Best of Hair Tools and Products

Since yesterday we talked about two easy hair styles (have you checked them out yet?) and since I’ve talked about my favourite skincare and makeup products before I thought it would be good to share my current favourite hair products and tools 🙂

Kérastase Elixir Ultime and Masque Force Architect: The oil leaves your hair suuuuper shiny, soft and manageable. I apply it on the lower half my hair, focusing on the ends. The masque is a great extra care treatment to fortify and protect the hair from breakage. If you use hair tools a lot, or if your hair is a bit damaged, this product is great.

T3 Interchangeable Styling wand, hair dryer and styling iron: These tools not only have the best look and design (I’m going to assume we all agree on that!), but they do work incredibly. If you have the budget to splurge they are definitely and 100% worth it. I seriously go from bad hair day to good hair day with the styling iron in a matter of minutes (not even 10). Both the styling iron and wand have 4 heat settings but I find that they heat up so so well that the second setting is enough for me. I run the iron mostly on the lower half of my hair to give my ends a sleek look. As for the styling wand, I mostly use the 1.25″ barrel (far right on the picture) for soft beachy waves (the 1.5″ gives you glam waves and the 1″ barrel is for tighter curls). You can buy the whole set or just the one you think you’d use the most (Sephora also carries the whole line here).

Klorane Shampoo with Chamomile: This shampoo is my absolute favourite shampoo and I haven’t found anything I like better. I love how it enhances blonde highlights (it really does, in a very natural looking way) and how it leaves my hair clean and shiny. I’ve heard from friends that their dry-shampoo is amazing so if you’re looking for one it could be a good option to try (I haven’t tried any because I have to wash my hair every day).

Bumble and Bumble Does it All Light Hold Hair Spray: My girl Aylin swears by this product and after using it many times I now understand why: It gives your hair a good hold without a crunchy feeling, perfect for soft and natural-looking styles.
