I have come up with countless protein bite recipes, seriously, I make them every week and I’m always experimenting depending on what I have on hand and how I feel. I rarely measure anything but the time I made these I took note of the ingredients so that I could share it with you guys 🙂 These are insanely easy to make, only take 5 ingredients, you mix everything in a bowl, shape into balls, refrigerate and enjoy them all week whenever you need a quick snack that’s healthy.
This recipe makes about 15 balls, and can be easily stored for a week in a container in your fridge. I’m not sure for how much longer they are good as I consume them before the end of the week, yes, they are GOOD, but I suppose they could go a bit longer (I doubt they would last you that long though) 😉 Scroll down for the ingredients and directions!
. 1 scoop vanilla flavoured protein powder (this is the one I like).
. 1 cup almond butter.
. 2/3 cup oats.
. 1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut.
. 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
WHAT TO DO:
. Combine all ingredients together leaving the chocolate chips for the end and using your hands, shape into balls.
. Transfer to a tight container and store in the fridge.
See? it doesn’t get any easier right? Hope you try them!
