Guys, the Sephora Beauty Insider event is happening until May 6th so if you’re looking for some REALLY good products to try, I’ve rounded up my top 25 beauty and skincare faves. Even though I sometimes get the chance to try new products that are sent my way, these have remained as staples and part of my daily skincare and makeup routine. There are some products that I’d love to try, like this from Tata Harper (or any product from her line to be honest, as I constantly hear great things about it!), this serum (has great reviews!), this skincare treatment, and this facial cleansing device, so if I do I’ll report back!
Keep on reading to find more about my faves!
Bare Minerals Powder Foundation: This gives great coverage without leaving your face feeling cakey.
Concealers: Nars Matte Concealer, Nars Creamy Concealer, YSL Touche Eclat and Bare Minerals Concealer. These 4 are my favourites. The YSL touche eclat is great to use as a highlighter and I mostly use it on my top eyelid to feel more awake. I’ve been using the Bare Minerals one for the last couple of months and I’ve been loving it! Sometimes I feel like you don’t even need foundation, just a dab of it where needed and you’re good to go. Last but not least, both Nars concealers are amazing and it all comes down to your preference on texture.
Mascaras: Benefit Bad Gal Bang!, Nars Climax Mascara, Givenchy Mascara, Givenchy Base Mascara. I honestly wouldn’t know which one to choose from all these but I’ll tell you that I feel that the Nars mascara is the one that will give you the most dramatic results. The Givenchy base has great reviews and the mascara is definitely lighter than the Nars one, giving you a softer result.
Nars Blush: Trust me, the Orgasm shade is a favourite for a reason. Works amazing on all skin types!
Nars Velvet Lip Glide: Love the smooth texture and if you like pink/nude lip colours, then I highly recommend you try it in Unlaced.
Stila Eyeliner: Hands down the best eyeliner. You’ll hear this from lots of people.
Moisturizers and Masks: Fresh Vitamin C Glow Moisturizer, Black Tea Overnight Mask, Youth Preserve Moisturizer, Honey Mask. The scent of the vitamin C moisturizer is beyond lovely. I like to use the black tea face mask every other day (I go between the Estee Lauder serum and this mask), and if you’re looking for deep hydration, the honey mask won’t disappoint you!
Serums: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, Tatcha Gold Camellia Oil, Drunk Elephant Marula Oil. I’ve been using the Estee Lauder and Tatcha oils for years and wouldn’t change them for anything and just recently tried the Marula oil and I have to say, it gives you a really amazing glow!
Brow Products: Benefit Volumizing Gel, Brow Setter, and Brow Pencil. These three products are all you need for perfect looking brows! I’m not really into super done or thick brows but I’ll tell you, these are really good and you can definitely achieve a natural looking finish with them. The gel setter is definitely a game changer. Your brows will stay nicely brushed ALL DAY.
