I’ve been loving creating capsules this year (see my Spring one here, and Summer one here) and I have to say, they have not only simplified the process of getting dressed (and packing I must add!) but they have made me see more clearly which pieces are definitely my closet musts and they have also helped me be more conscious and thorough about my shopping and what I should really spend money on. If you’re looking to simplify your life, there’s no question that creating these capsules will help you achieve that.

In this Fall capsule you’ll find 25 pieces that will help you create endless outfits for any type of occasion you might have. From low-key outings to special events, these classic and versatile pieces are easy to mix and match to create any look!

Here’s everything you need for a stylish season:

TOPS: A cardigan is definitely a basic layer everyone needs as it’s something you can easily throw on when needed. Basic sweaters like a crewneck and a v-neck are no-brainers and a silk cami for occasions when you need to dress-up is key and easy to match with jeans or a skirt.

BOTTOMS: Dark denim is perfect for the season so I’d stick with a dark wash and black jeans. Wide-leg trousers are perfect when you need to dress up a bit and I particularly love a plaid version, after all, this is the season to bust out all your plaids! Last but not least, a cute skirt that you can wear with heels, booties or sneakers is a must.

JACKETS: I’ll admit that when it comes to jackets and coats it’s a bit hard to narrow down the essentials (some many great options for layering right?!) but if I had to choose just 4 for the season, these would be it. A classic long wool coat (in black, camel or grey), a sherpa-lined denim jacket (for that extra warmth!), a polished blazer (black is the most versatile, but you all know that plaids are in too!), and a cool leather jacket. I think these 4 cover all moods and occasions!

SHOES: When it comes to shoes, if you have to narrow down the essentials to the bare minimum, these 5 pairs will cover all your needs. Sneakers, classic black booties and pumps, polished loafers and leopard print flats make the list!

ACCESSORIES: Last but not least, the finishing pieces to complete your looks are just as important as the rest. You gotta have a classic scarf that goes with everything, hence why basic camel and black are great options; a wool-fedora for that cool vibe, a great pair of sunglasses and the only two bags you could need: a tote and a sophisticated cross body.

Wilfred the Classic Wool Scarf (here’s another option) | Rag & Bone Kacy Wool Fedora | J.Crew Large Devon crossbody bag with chain link strap in suede and leather | Tory Burch Perry Leather 13-Inch Laptop Tote | Ray-Ban Blaze 59mm Round Sunglasses
